Paula’s Thursday’s Special is full of wonderful images this week. Life around here has been exceptionally busy and, scrolling back through myriads of photos, I chanced upon the above. To me, it says ‘confined’, within those windows. How about you? I’d better explain that I was at the Sage, Gateshead, attending a song and dance show entitled ‘Remembering Fred’. Astaire and Rogers always put a twinkle in my eye. Quite a few people were confined, very happily, in the theatre that night, along with reflections of the Millennium and Tyne bridges.
I think this is a good fit for Dawn’s Lingering Look at Windows too. I’m hoping Paula won’t mind.
Great post…wonderful windows!
Thanks for linking up.

What great architectural details, Jo! I’m just emerging from a few busy weeks as the semester is wrapping up at the law school, and I’m looking forward to getting caught up on the rest of my blog reading (and posting). I know I’ve missed two or three of your Monday walks along the way, as well as the companion walks of everyone else – I’m looking forward to seeing where you’ve been walking lately! Hope you have a good weekend!

Hiya darlin! I haven’t found much time to come over to yours either, with all my flitting about. It’s been an eventful few weeks. I’ll be playing catch up too. Enjoy your free time! 🙂 🙂

Heck, things have changed oop north. That’s one classy piece of modern architecture! Taking me ages to catch up. Somehow being away from a computer for a week has really put me off my stride in the blogging world. Hopefully I shall get my mojo back next week when I pick up the laptop. Though gardening may interfere for a while too!

There’s still one too many charity shops on the old High St., Jude, but the riverside looks the part. I always find it hard to get going again when I get back, and the weight of the Inbox… 😦 Slowly does it! 🙂 🙂 Got to garden when you get the weather.

Impressive building. Part of it reminds me of the Atomium in Brussels – the glass,, the windows, the room inside the bottom ball. The first thought that comes to mind when I think about “confined” is a carton full of eggs. Not sure why… 🙂

It’s like a big silver caterpillar from the front, Irene, but the acoustics are magnificent. 🙂
