Flying south again- but not Algarve!
The Brecon Beacons, in case you wondered, but it’s not really a clue. An unexpected invitation has me up, up and away, dizzy in the clouds, this weekend. All will be revealed later. I’m sorry, Debbie, but I won’t be able to link to your six words because I’ve scheduled this, and my Monday walk. There’s no excuse for not getting out and about on a Bank Holiday, is there? I just need to say that, for anyone thinking of linking a walk to me, if I don’t already have it then I’ll have to save it for the following week. Us busy people, you know! Humble apologies!
This is the new bridge into Liverpool. Looks good, doesn’t it? Maybe it will be finished next time I fly that way. Have a great weekend, all!
Hello my lovely, I thought it was time to check in and see what you’ve been up to. I always like seeing places from above, especially cities, just wish I’d been able to meet yo from this plane.

I was just about to email you, hon, to see how it was going. I knew that in the week you’d just be getting on with life and work but come the weekend you have more time to miss her. 😦

Great photo of the bridge Jo, I hope you’re having a great weekend away. 🙂
I’m only just managing to catch up with you after spending all my spare time over the last week-and-a-half sorting out my photos and writing my blog from my Easter trip – it’s been a long process! 🙂

You can’t be contained! Can’t imagine you in a fixed abode. Enjoy the jaunt, even if it’s tinged with loss.

ha here on the coast, ‘they’ have been rebuilding the old bridge that crosses rio jama.. they picked a really strange time to dismantle the old – started in january and people had to drive thru the river when the water was low – and it was the beginning of the rainy season! machines helped pull vehicles thru too-deep water! sometimes it was a two-hour wait, and when it rained hard upriver, a very long wait!
there is a temp bridge in place now, and it looks ike it will be another month or more before the new one is finished.. it will have mammoth footings, and that plan baffles most of us because it’s not a wide or ‘bravo’ rio… for two or three months each year it gets a bit high after heavy rains…. whle driving it is a one-blink crossing… maybe five or ten seconds at normal slow speed!
and to think how many millions that structure will cost vs two precious children that asked me for help yesterday to buy two five dollar blouses so they could participate in a school event….
your bridge is lovely, however, and it is especially nice to see it from an eagle’s view! .. may your time away be fun!.

No worries Jo, Ill add your link. Though I’m on a train at the moment and even adding this comment is challenging!
How exciting! I can’t wait for your return from wherever so that we know where you’ve jetted off to.
And that’s a great view. The design of that bridge resembles the new road bridge at Firth of Firth.
