What can I tell you?
Whisper it very softly
Watch her like a hawk!
She doesn’t mean any harm
Don’t cry fish! It’s not so bad.
I always find fascination in the National Glass Centre at Sunderland. Sometimes I can find Juxtaposition too. But today I wanted something to please my Lazy Poet friend, Gilly. She’s been sad lately.
The glass looks lovely. I went to Uni in Sunderland but I think it was the national glass center was fully developed 1995-98.

Talent! I have no idea what that is in relation to me, Dianne, but I’m good at admiring it in others. 🙂 I really loved that first piece.

Jo, those first images of faces etched in glass, I saw some in Tallinn and I took shots of them. Where did you take the shots?

These are cool glass statues, and I love how you have framed them, so the photos become an interpretation of their own.

Thanks, Otto. The setting, alongside the River Wear and the docks, does make for some interesting shots, and I love the glassware. 🙂

There are obviously some talented glass makers in Sunderland. Is there a history of the craft in the area? 😉

There used to be glass bottle factories along the coast (resulting in the prevalence of sea glass on some of the beaches 🙂 ).
